We (Joseph, Heidi & Tate) live in Indianapolis. Joseph is pastor of ClearNote Church. Heidi is a wife, mother and homemaker. Tate is 2 and a half. We are in the process of adopting a second time from Ethiopia.
Thank you Daniel. We just had our garage sale this past weekend and made over $400 in a few hours. It was extremely encouraging. I know how much work garage sales are and thank you in advance for all the work you and Maryanne will be putting in this week.

Man, is that boy cute! We'll have to get him and Josiah together with Josiah's drums and his open-chorded guitar. They could really play "church," which is Josiah's favorite thing to do in the drum-room.
I don't guess I ever realized that March 13, 2009 was the day you and Joseph got your first glimpse of sweet Tate. That was the hard day we traveled to Cincinnati to have Anne-Claire and Elise's diagnosis of TTTS confirmed. I do remember that Tate came home to you right around the time Anne-Claire and Elise were born in May of 2009. As we reflect on our life two years ago, the blessings of then and now do not cease to amaze me. I'm so thankful for Tate and am happy to pray for the new little one(s) God has in store for your family.
Heidi, that's awesome. I didn't voice it to you guys, but that is exactly what I felt like God wanted you guys to do. He kept bringing to mind the precise timing...how He spoke to you through your friends when they said, "Do it now." Of course, we don't know what that means (will it be a quick process or a long process?), but we know that God is in it. And that's exciting.
I love you guys!

And what a blessing Tate is!! We're praying for the adoption. I'll have to start Josiah praying every day again. This time it will sound different from last time when he had to ask us the words every day, and he could never remember Opi-opia. :)
HI! We are the Gingerich family who are another AWAA family. I saw your blog address on the yahoo group site I believe and put it in my list. I see that you just submitted your I-600a today... We JUST did it today as well!!! We are in Ohio and had been waiting for our child abuse clearances.
Just wanted to introduce myself...I loved seeing someone else post about their sending out forms to USCIS! :) What a great step, huh?
Faith!
We are adopting through AWAA (Ethiopia) as well. Just saw your blog address via the yahoo group. Love these kind of testimony stories. Its good to know we aren't the only ones who are on this journey COMPLETELY by faith!
Tate stands in the living room and breezes through the whole service up to the sermon (when he goes to the nursery).
Congrats to you too!
