Good News!

We received good news in our agency's conference call today that MOWCYA is now writing 10 recommendation letters a day. This is doubled from what is had been since March. This letter is required for families to pass court in Ethiopia, so a slow down in letter writing means a slow down in court cases, which means children are in orphanages longer and wait times for referrals go up. This is the first good news we've heard since March and continue to pray that MOWCYA will work their way back up to writing 20+ letters a day.

Pink Flamingo Invasion and a Midnight Intruder

Recently Joseph and I had a wonderful getaway to Clifty Falls State Park. We came home a few hours early to a sick son. Tate was on the mend from a stomach bug and when we arrived home, we were greeted by a flock of flamingos. At first we thought it must be a cancer fundraiser that we know is going on in Speedway and that we would have to make a donation to have them removed. But, we found our dishes replaced with flamingo plates and Tate found an inflatable flamingo in his crib.
