Tate's First Guitar Lesson

A couple of Sunday's ago, Ben came up from Bloomington and led worship at ClearNote Church for us. After lunch at our house, I had him tune Tate's guitar to an open chord, and he gave him a lesson. Here is a fun video of from the afternoon, for your enjoyment.

Good News

We received a good update from our agency today regarding MOWA. You can read it below. AWA also has all our completed paperwork and it is on track to be DTE this Friday! This means our official spot in the referral line will be this Friday and our wait will begin.

Please pray that our dossier would actually be able to be mailed in on Friday. Also, please pray that the new staff of MOWA would do their work well and that they would do their best to provide homes for orphans in their country.

Paperwork to AWA today and Referral-versary

Well, we talked this morning over breakfast and decided that God has called us to pursue adopting from Ethiopia. If God is telling us to do it, we just need to continue acting in faith and trust Him with the results. So, in spite of the recent news about MOWA slowing down the process, we are proceeding in faith that this is what we are supposed to do. There has been no talk of the program closing completely and we will continue to pray that MOWA's decision gets overturned. If we do end up having to be in the adoption process for years, then God will equip us to do it.

Paperwork done, but . . .

We received our final piece of paperwork yesterday. I had prayed yesterday morning that we would get some encouraging news, so while we are still waiting to see what happens before sending in all our paperwork, it is encouraging to have it all completed.
