Just Love Coffee Fundraiser

Buy coffee from our storefront and $5 per bag will go toward our adoption expenses. Buy individual bags, or join the club and get a bag or two delivered every month! So, if you're a regular coffee drinker or know someone who is, this is a great chance to buy with a purpose. This fundraiser will continue through our whole adoption process. We just received our finalized home study, which is awesome. This is the big report done by a social worker that tells all about our family, history, ability to care for a child.

God Provides

Immediately after we decided to step out in faith and pursue adoption now, even though we do not have the money necessary, God strengthened our faith that He will provide what is needed to complete what he has called us to. I think it was only a day after we decided to start adoption that our neighbor knocked on our door and dropped of $12 cash in an envelope. She had found it on a run nearly a month ago and thought, "I should give this to Joseph and Heidi." So, she hung on to it for a month, accidentally put it through the wash, but eventually made it over to our door, cash in hand.

Back from Christmas

We just returned from Christmas traveling with our families up in Michigan and in Wisconsin. In Michigan, we celebrated with the Bayly family and had 11 adults and 10 kids staying in one house, which seemed less chaotic than this summer when we shared the same house with 7 adults and 8 children under age 4. This will *hopefully* be the last year that adults actually outnumber children in the Bayly family, so let the fun begin! 

 

Here We Go Again!

Over the last year and a half, we've gone through a lot of changes: adopting Tate, moving to indianapolis, beginning ClearNote Church, buying a house. Changes have been good and we have grown much individually and as a family. As we begin our second year in Indianapolis and church planting, we are also beginning a second adoption journey!
